London, Apr 26 : Oprah Winfrey showed off her generous side earlier this week when she treated a homeless man to lunch at a posh Beverly Hills restaurant.

The TV titan was in a creative meeting with executives from her OWN network on the Scarpetta eaterie's patio, and enjoyed a five-course meal while she listened to her employees' ideas, the Daily Express reported.

But the 58-year-old interrupted the chat when she was approached by a man who asked for a bowl of soup and she made his day by giving him a wad of cash and ordering her entourage to organise a sumptuous feast.

"Please, can we get him some money, get him a meal," a source quoted Winfrey as saying, according to the New York Post.

When the man told the star his name was Eddie, she reportedly replied, "God bless you, Eddie." (ANI)
