Oprah Winfrey to visit Dr. Oz Show today

Its going to seem like old times. Oprah Winfrey will be back at 4 p.m.

But she will be there just for today as she visits The Dr. Oz Show. The Emmy-winning series starring Dr. Mehmet Oz took the Winfrey time slot, which she had held on WFTV-Channel 9 for 25 years.

Winfrey and Oz will unveil a special surprise in the second segment that is an Oprah Winfrey/Dr. Oz first, according to the show. But Winfrey, who was Ozs TV mentor, also has business to do.

In a release, Ozs folks promised an intimate interview in which Lady O will discuss her OWN cable network and the series Oprahs Next Chapter, which debuts Jan. 1 on OWN. She also discusses changes in her life, a lead-in to the start of a season-long initiative Dr. Ozs Transformation Nation: Million Dollar You.

Oz said in a statement: I am overflowing with both gratitude and excitement that the woman who taught me how to work in television and who had the faith in me to launch this show is here to sit and share her remarkable story with the audience.
