Oprah Winfrey is highest-paid celebrity: Forbes
The former queen of daytime, who now operates her own network, made $165 US million between May 2011 and May 2012.
While OWN (Oprah Winfrey Network)i s struggling, Winfrey is raking it in from her involvement with Dr. Phil, Rachael Ray and The Dr. Oz Show.
She also has her own magazine, O, and a satellite radio station, Forbes said.
Forbes said the most surprising entry was rapper and producer Dr. Dre, who was in fifth place on the coveted list.
After all, he's normally just a millionaire - but from May 2011 and May 2012, Forbes estimated he brought in $110 million. Much of that can be attributed to the sales of Beats by Dr. Dre headphones.
