Talk show host Oprah Winfrey will pay tribute to the late musical icon, Whitney Houston, in a two-hour special airing on Feb. 16 at 9 p.m. ET on Oprahs OWN network.

Over Grammy weekend, Feb. 10-12, the world was rocked by the shocking death of Whitney Houston, who passed away at the young age of 48. Although nothing is confirmed as of yet, it has been reported that Houston has died from a combination of alcohol and drugs. She was found unconscious in the bathtub of her hotel room at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Sat. afternoon.

During the tribute special, Remembering Whitney: The Oprah Interview, Winfrey will re-air an interview between the two that took place in 2009, in which Houston publically admits to abusing drugs, according to BET.

Oprah.com is stating that the interview to be shown was the last sit-down interview that took place between Winfrey and Houston and was originally aired during The Oprah Winfrey Shows 24th season.

In addition, Winfrey will share memories between the two.

Houstons latest endeavor,Sparkle, which is due out in August, is reportedly being released earlier, perhaps on Memorial DayRadar Online reported. "Dates are being discussed, and it's still early, but the reasoning is that Whitney's fans will want to see her in this movie, in which she gives a remarkable performance," a source close to the situation exclusively told the site.
