An Oprah Winfrey house in Chicago is now for rent, $15,000 a month, which she reportedly bought in 2006 for $5.6 million. Photos are available below.

As noted at Chicago Tribune this week, Oprah did not move in and decided to stay in her duplex condo nearby. She listed it as for sale for $6 million from June 2008 to January 2009 but was not sold.
According to a listing at Prudential Rubloff Properties, the three-bedroom, 4,607 square-foot 1913 Beaux Arts co-op apartment is located at 199 East Lake Shore Drive, Chicago, Illinois.
The Oprah Winfrey property, which was designed by architect Benjamin Marshall, has six floors, with the master bedroom to be 1,241 square feet with his and her bathrooms.
Among its other features include three full baths, two half baths, 10-foot ceilings, two fireplaces, two foyers (one inner, one grand), a library, a solarium, a formal dining room, and a butlers pantry.
Oprahs apartment also has a two-car garage, a gourmet custom kitchen, bar-wet, hardwood floors; which is only among her properties including her estate in Montecito, California, which she reportedly bought in 2001 for $50 million.
Winfrey, 57, whose TV show The Oprah Winfrey Show ended this year after 26 seasons and is now Chairwoman, CEO, and CCO of OWN (Oprah Winfrey Network) also owns other residential real estate in Chicago.
She reportedly bought a house in Elmwood P! ark in 2001 for $298,000 and another one in Merrillville, Indiana. According to Forbes, Oprah Winfrey was worth over $2.7 billion as of September 2010.
