Oprah Winfrey named godmother of Blue Ivy, Beyonce's baby?
Have Beyonce and husband Jay-Z chosen Oprah Winfrey to be the godmother of their first child, daughter Blue Ivy Carter?

Representatives for the two had no immediate comment on Thursday, January 26, regarding a report by the MediaTakeOut.com, which also said Tyran "Ty Ty" Smith, a friend of Jay-Z who has worked as the rapper's road manager, was made the godfather of the child. The urban website cited an "EXTREMELY reliable insider" as its source.
Both Beyonce and Jay-Z, whose real name is Shawn Carter, have appeared several times on Winfrey's old long-running talk series, "The Oprah Winfrey Show." The program ended its run after some 25 years in May 2011.
Beyonce and Jay-Z, who married in 2008, welcomed their daughter on January 7 in a New York hospital. Winfrey sent the couple a trunk full of children's books" as a baby gift, according to the show "The Insider."
Shortly after the birth, the rapper released a song about the baby.
