Oprah Gives Justin Bieber Marital Advice on Next Chapter Interview

Does Justin Bieber's next chapter include marriage?

In an exclusive interview for "Oprah's Next Chapter," the teen heartthrob told Oprah Winfrey that he wants to be married with children by the age of 25!

But when the queen of talk told him to "rethink" the idea of marrying young, the 18-year old seemed to take her advice to heart.

"Rethink that, will you?" Oprah advised him. "I think twenty-five is too young, I really do, and particularly for you. Because your whole twenties is about discovering who you really are, and you owe that to yourself, particularly because you are in the business that you're in. There's not a lot of self-discovery time because so much is already defined for you."

Bieber promised he would heed her advice, saying, "Well, we'll see when we get there I mean, you are Oprah. And you're telling me to not get married at twenty-five, I should probably listen to you."

Of course, in order to get married he would have to find a girlfriend first anyway. While Bieber gushed about his relationship with fellow pop singer Selena Gomez ("She just has a good heart. And I can talk to her about anything," he said), the too-cute couple broke up shortly after this interview took place.

But back in October when things were still good, Bieber vowed, "I never make [Selena] separate from me, because I don't want her to ever feel like I'm ashamed of her If we get away, we're getting away together."

As for fans who sent Gomez death threats because she dared to date Justin, he said, "People are mean and people say mean things. But at the end of the day, I still have to be happy. I can't be single my whole life."

He also joked that he's just "one Bieber" and said, "If I could be with everybody, all of the fans, I would. But I can't."

Of course, JB did admit that sometimes it's lonely at the top.

"I really don't have a lot of friends," he said. "I have, like, three close friends that I'll fly out to see me or that I'll iChat with, or, you know, call, but that's really the truth I get lonely sometimes. You feel sometimes you just need someone to be there with you."

Meanwhile, Bieber's mom was the same age he is now when she gave birth to the future pop superstar, while Oprah -- who turns 59 in January and has never been married -- is presumably still rethinking things.

"Oprah's Next Chapter" airs on Sunday night at 9/8c on OWN.
