Oprah dazzles crowd in Saskatoon

Oprah Winfrey spoke to an enthusiastic crowd of about 14,000 at Saskatoon's Credit Union Centre on Sunday night. "So great to see you on a Sunday night in Saskatoon," Winfrey said as she stepped onstage at Credit Union Centre. For the next two hours, she had 14,000 people in the audience in the palm of her hand. They clapped, cheered and wept as she delivered life lessons and personal stories. Among those in the audience was Marva Angela-Walker who drove in from Regina to catch the show. "Amazing. I was so happy that I was able to come here," she said. "It was phenomenal." Confidential understands Winfrey is in talks to be the big-name guest speaker at the Education For Life conference that will take place in Melbourne from November 29 to December 2 at a yet-to-be-determined venue. The last time Winfrey was in Melbourne was back in December 2010, when she filmed segments of her show at Federation Square. Jamie McIntyre, the man who is bringing Arnold Schwarzenegger to Australia in June for the 21st Century Financial Education Summit, is also behind the conference that is wooing Winfrey. If she does make it, Winfrey, unfortunately, will not be in Melbourne early enough for the Spring Racing Carnival. Oprah Winfrey criticized by the Canadian Foreskin Awareness Project over anti-aging skin cream endorsement

An anti-circumcision human rights group is picketing media mogul Oprah Winfrey as she tours through Canada because she has endorsed an anti-aging cream made of cells extracted from foreskins. The Canadian Foreskin Awareness Project is the self-proclaimed feistiest pro-foreskin advocacy group which works to educate and raise awareness for a male infants right to keep his genitals intact. Winfrey has been on a three-stop tour of Canada giving motivational talks to sold-out audiences about her rise to fame, her famous inspirational idols and her Christian faith. As harmless as the tour may seem, the Toronto Star reported that the CFAP has picketed at Winfreys first two stops, Ottawa and Montreal. The rights group is angry that Winfrey has endorsed SkinMedicas TNS Recovery Complex an anti-aging cream made from the fibroblast cells of male foreskins. Oprah gives her shoes away to thrilled Ottawa fan

On Wednesday, however, during the Ottawa stop of An Evening With Oprah Winfrey , the 59-year-old media mogul kicked off her shoes and gifted them to one of the 15,000 people who had crowded into Scotiabank Place for her talk. While several members of the crowd offered up their own shoes, she refused to take them but she did give the purple Manolo Blahniks to ex-radio-host Sandy Sharkey.
