Oprah Winfrey doesnt judge Chris Brown and Rihanna for reuniting
Oprah Winfrey - who recently interviewed Rihanna about her relationship with Chris Brown on Oprahs Next Chapter - says that she is in no position to judge the We Found Love singers decision to rekindle her romance with former boyfriend Chris Brown.
Us Weekly reports that Winfrey chatted with Extra on Friday to discuss the latest romance rumors surrounding Ri Ri and Brown.
You know what I loved about that interview is that she came with a big, wide open heart. She was in the space of forgiveness. And that she learned a lesson, that she was repeating with Chris Brown exactly what she needed to learn from her father. Brown assaulted Rihanna in 2009, leaving their relationship just as much broken and bruised as the Barbados singer. Ri Ris father, Ronald Fenty, also had a history of domestic abuse, which Rihanna says was his way of dealing with personal demons.
When Oprah was asked her opinion of Rihanna entering back into a scarred relationship, the talk show host said, I think that if she is prepared to deal with that and is prepared to help him help himself then so be it. I have no judgment about it. Thats why I can sit there and have such a great time with her because I do all my interviews with no judgment whatsoever. If thats how you choose to lead you life, thats really okay.
In the Aug. 19 interview special, Rihanna told Oprah, I think [Chris] was the love of my life. He was my first love and I see that he loved me the same wayWe love each other and! we probably always will, and thats not anything that were going to try to change.
