Oprah Winfrey Interviews Shaquan Dulay to be aired this April 1
Popular host Oprah Winfrey and Oprah Winfreys production company has confirmed that her interview with an Orangeburg County woman who pleaded guilty to killing her two young boys will air April 1st.According to reports, Winfrey visited the Orangeburg-Calhoun Regional Detention Center Friday to speak withShaquan Duley.
Winfrey flew into Orangeburg on Friday to interview Duley at the Orangeburg-Calhoun Regional Detention Center. The interview will be shown at 9 p.m. April 1 on OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network.
Duley pleaded guilty last week to two charges of murder in the deaths of her sons, 2-year-old Devean and 18-month-old Javan. She admitted suffocating the boys and staging a car crash at a river outside of town.
On March 16, Duley pleaded guilty to two counts of murder. She told the court she loved her children and that her heart hurts for her two sons.
This is probably the hardest thing Ive ever gone through in my life, Duley said. Id like to ask forgiveness from my family. Id also like to apologize to the community.
Circuit Court Judge Ed Dickson is scheduled to sentence Duley on March 30. Duley faces between 30 years and life in prison.
