Whitney Houston's daughter gives interview to Oprah Winfrey

Oprah Winfrey will need headline-making fare to bring more viewers to OWN, her struggling cable channel. Winfrey is certainly determined to deliver.

Late Friday, OWN announced that Winfrey has landed an interview with Whitney Houstons daughter, Bobbi Kristina. Winfrey also will talk to Gary Houston, Whitneys brother, and Patricia Houston, Whitneys sister-in-law and manager. Patricia spoke at the funeral. The family will have a chance to address speculation about the singers death and reports about the funeral.

The interviews will be featured in Oprahs Next Chapter at 9 p.m. Sunday, March 11, on OWN, of course.

What will Bobbi Kristina discuss? Id like to know her reactions to reports that she was out-of-control after her mothers death. But OWN says that Bobbi Kristina shares personal memories of her mom and how she would like the iconic superstar to be remembered.

Before that special, OWN will repeat Remembering Whitney: The Oprah Interview from 7 to 9 p.m. March 11. OWN said the special features Whitney Houstons last in-depth television interview from The Oprah Winfrey Show as Winfrey reflects on her personal memories of the superstar.

To keep viewers returning to Oprahs Next Chapter, Winfrey talks to Lady Gaga on March 18 and Gloria Steinem on March 25.

OWN said that Winfrey visits the New York apartment where Gaga grew up and talks to Gagas mother, Cynthia. Notoriously tight-lipped about her personal life, Lady Gaga also opens up about love, marriage and children, OWN says.
