Oprah Winfrey Interviews Whitney Houstons Daughter

Oprah Winfrey interviewed Whitney Houstons daughter and a few other family members three weeks after the singers tragic death for her show Oprahs Next Chapter.

The episode will see Whitney interviewing Bobbi Kristina Brown, Houstons 18-year-old daughter, Houstons brother Gary and her sister-in-law and manager Patricia Houston. The episode is scheduled to air Sunday, March 11.

Oprah Winfrey Network reports that Kristina will share personal memories of her mom and how she would like the iconic superstar to be remembered.

The interview will be the first interview that the family members have given since her death. Winfrey has been a family friend of the Houstons for a while now, so there is no surprise as to why they chose her.

It will be especially interesting to hear what Whitneys daughter Bobbi Kristina has to say. She was rushed to the hospital the day that her mother died, being treated for anxiety. Rumors of her using and abusing drugs have also surfaced recently, and viewers will want her to address those rumors.

Bobbys mother Whitney Houston, a multiple Grammy award-winning artist who sold over 170 million albums, singles and videos worldwide during her career, was found dead in the bathtub at the Beverly Hills Hotel in Beverly Hills, California on February 11, the night before the 2012 Grammy Awards.

The cause of death has not yet been determined, although many would not be surprised if it was drug-related, as Houston had a very serious drug addiction throughout her career. Houston was 48 years old, and her daughter Bobbi turns 19 today.
