TORONTO - Oprah Winfrey is heading back to Canada to offer more insights from her celebrated career. The media maven is set to speak in Montreal on April 11 and in Hamilton on April 13. During the show titled "An Evening with Oprah Winfrey" the talk show queen will share stories and lessons learned from 25 years as host of "The Oprah Winfrey Show" and as the current boss of the Oprah Winfrey Network. In January, Winfrey appeared before a crowd of about 15,000 people in Edmonton where she spoke about her interview with disgraced cyclist Lance Armstrong. That northern visit included stops in Calgary and Vancouver. Tickets for the Montreal event go on sale Wednesday while tickets for the Hamilton event will be available Thursday.

Nine-year-old Oscar nominee, Quvenshane Wallis, and Oprah Winfrey were honored on Thursday at Essence magazines sixth annual Black Women in Hollywood awards luncheon. The Associated Press reports the young actress had to stand on a step in order to speak at the podium. Among several people, she thanked God, Beasts of the Southern Wild director Behn Zeitlin and her babysitter on set. She is the youngest actress in the history of the Oscars to be nominated for the title of best actress. She is also one out of 10 African-Americans to be recognized in the same category. 'For Better or Worse' moves from TBS to OWN

LOS ANGELES (AP) Oprah Winfrey 's cable channel says it will be the new home of the sitcom "For Better or Worse." Tyler Perry 's comedy series will move from TBS to OWN for its third season, starting this fall. OWN announced Wednesday that it's also getting rerun rights for the show's first two years. "For Better or Worse" is about three couples dealing with the challenges of dating and married life. OWN says the original cast, including Tasha Smith and Michael Jai White , will remain with the show. Production on season three begins in April. The comedy will be OWN's third scripted series from Perry, who has a deal with OWN to produce TV shows and other projects. The first two original series, a sitcom and a drama, are scheduled to debut in May.

In the singer's new documentary, called Life Is But A Dream, she talks about her life with rapper husband Jay-Z and their daughter Blue Ivy. Coinciding with the documentary, which aired in the US on Saturday, Beyonce talked to Oprah Winfrey in an interview shown on Winfrey's OWN channel. The film, which Beyonce co-directed, is part of a return to performing after a year off since Blue Ivy, her first child, was born. She told Oprah how she had gained almost 60 pounds when pregnant and was shocked when she went to perform again for the first time. Beyonce with her rapper husband Jay-Z "I did a show three months after I gave birth, which was really crazy.
